About the Speaker

Sally Lloyd, OTR/L is an experienced, practicing pediatric occupational therapist. During her career she has been driven to better the lives of others with work spanning several settings, including short term rehabilitation, work in a Certified Outpatient Rehab Facility, homes, and finally her private practice. She has been serving children in their natural environments for over 19 years, and in 2009 she embraced her unique vision to offer the three core pediatric therapy services (Occupational, Physical and Speech-Language therapy) in one private practice by opening Better Beginnings.

Sally uses a holistic developmental approach involving the entire family, not just the child. She is passionate about connecting with others, believing child development education provides a meaningful way to engage families in the therapeutic process. She has devoted over 19 years to working with infants and children with complex medical diagnoses, including several PWS clients. Sally has been trained in the SOS feeding approach, Beckman Oral Motor, Interactive Metronome, Integrated Listening System. She has also attended continuing education for additional feeding courses, Myofascial Release and sensory processing.
