We have had another good FPWR board meeting/annual meeting and are thankful for everyone who participated. The board met on Thursday and Friday, then we moved to Snow Mountain Ranch where we were joined by many other wonderful FPWR families for the weekend. As others have said, we had wonderful speakers who gave us great hope by sharing their expertise in areas related to PWS. Our two keynote speakers, Dr. Jennifer Miller and Dr. Lucy Jane Miller, shared with us on Saturday and answered many questions from the audience.

The three days were filled with a variety of workshops including fundraising, nutrition, FPWR-funded research, and a panel of practitioners who took questions from the floor. In her President's Address, Lauren Roth inspired us with a review of the year and the progress that FPWR has seen. During the weekend, we enjoyed a time of campfire songs, rode horses, hiked, swam, and "viewed the aspens." Our children enjoyed crafts, games, and outdoor play. Erin will never forget the beautiful night sky filled with stars and a clear view of the Milky Way!

Thanks again to everyone who came in for the meeting, to the Porters for their work in coordinating, to Erica Mays for her help in organizing child care activities and workers, and to the board for committing time and energy to the fall board meeting. It was a busy few days, but well worth all it took to make it happen. If you missed this year, we look forward to seeing you in 2008!
