May Awareness Month 2017
This May, during Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Month, people around the world who are affected by PWS are joining together to say: We believe research can change the future for our children, so we're fundraising to support a $26M 5-year plan to develop new treatments for PWS. In honor of Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Month, we ask you to show you believe in a positive future for all people with PWS by donating. You can help make that future possible.
Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a genetic disorder that occurs in approximately one out of every 15,000 births. It is recognized as the most common genetic cause of life-threatening childhood obesity.
FPWR is working to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi syndrome through the advancement of research. By working together, we intend to free our loved ones from the burdens of PWS, allowing them to lead full and independent lives.
