ABOUT THE FOUNDATION FOR PRADER-WILLI RESEARCH

We’re not just waiting and hoping for new treatments, and a cure, we’re aggressively doing something about it. The Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR) has one aim in mind: to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi and Schaaf-Yang syndromes through the advancement of research and therapeutic development. We are uniquely focused on research and developing new therapies. Our devotion to finding new forms of treatment, and ultimately cures, is what drives us.

To date, FPWR has invested more than $20,000,000 into research that helps us better understand Prader-Willi and Schaaf-Yang syndromes and will ultimately lead to transformative treatments. Our investments have developed models of the syndrome, established patient registries, and supported the best research labs focused on PWS and SYS around the globe.
