Harvesting Hope 2025: Walk, Run, or Shake Your Tailfeather

Walk, run, or shake your tailfeather! Harvesting Hope 2025 is back Oct 16–Thanksgiving. Every step funds research, and this year, every dollar is matched.

Ready to put purpose in your steps? The Harvesting Hope Distance Challenge is back starting October 16! Whether you walk, run, or waddle, every step funds critical research for Prader-Willi and Schaaf-Yang syndromesHannah McGhee Harvesting Hope.

And the best part? Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar you raise will be matched!

How it Works

  • Join the flock: Tap “Trot With Us” to set up your fundraising page.

  • Get moving: Log your miles on the Strava app between October 16 and Thanksgiving Day.

  • Spread the word: Invite friends, family, coworkers (even your nosy neighbor) to chip in!

Why You'll Love it

  • Movement matters: Staying active is a game-changer for PWS symptom management. Harvesting Hope celebrates that while funding the research families need.

  • It's inclusive: Last year’s participants walked with kids, strollers, dogs, and one clever participant even logged distance at the grocery store (no judgment here!). From family strolls to Thanksgiving Day 5Ks, every step counts.

  • Game on: Our weekly leaderboard will bring out your inner competitor. Plus, there are bragging rights and prizes to keep motivation mile-high!

Don't Take it From Us

Last year's participants say...

  • Team Molly: "Molly loves to be moving! She wants a cure for PWS and understands that raising money for research helps her and her friends!" -Teresa Price

  • Team Callan: “Harvesting Hope is the perfect opportunity get the whole family, near and far, up and moving for the best cause. We had cousins on the other side of the country walking for Callan!” -Amy Girling

  • Team Paisley: "We will never be able to adequately express our gratitude to all the researchers behind the scenes. Providing funds for them to do their magic is our way of supporting their hard work.” - Jennifer Leamer

Ready to Shake It?

Harvesting Hope is fun. It’s impactful. And yes, it’s a little sweaty. Lace up your sneakers, join the flock, and turn your autumn miles into movement that matters.
