Art Auction

Participate in FPWR's annual art auction and artist of the year competition.

Every masterpiece tells a story.

When you participate in our annual Art Auction, your artist's artwork becomes more than a painting, it becomes a powerful way to raise awareness, inspire others, and help fund the research that brings us closer to better treatments and a cure.

Each year, our artists remind us that creativity has no limits. Their artwork sparks conversations, connects our community, and helps generate critical funding for groundbreaking PWS and SYS research. Whether your child paints a colorful abstract, a favorite animal, or simply enjoys making a joyful mess with paint, every piece makes a difference.

How It Works

Participation is easy!

We'll mail you a canvas for your artist to create a one-of-a-kind work of art. You mail it back, and we'll photograph it and put it on the auction website.

There are no rules or expectations—every artist's unique style is celebrated.

Timeline

February - Receive Your Canvas

If selected, we'll mail your artist everything needed to get started.

Aliana DoulaMarch – Create & Return Your Artwork

Your artist creates their masterpiece, and you'll mail it back to FPWR.

April – Share Your Artist's Story

We'll provide easy-to-use email and social media templates alongside fundraising tips so you can invite family and friends to support your artist before the auction begins.

Early May – The Auction Begins

Supporters will have five days to bid on your artwork. Friends and family can also make a donation in honor of your artist. Every bid and every gift helps advance research that brings hope to our community.

Want to make an even bigger impact?

Artists are invited to participate in our Artist of the Year Competition by creating and sharing a personal fundraising page. The artist who raises the most funds will earn the title of Artist of the Year and be featured on the cover of our next Impact Report.

More importantly, every dollar raised helps accelerate the research that is transforming the future for people living with PWS and SYS.
