FPWR's 2023 Family Conference will be held on October 6th and October 7th at The Westin Downtown Denver.
The two-day conference is a powerful experience combining education, networking, and community-building. Learn the latest in PWS and SYS research and standards of care from experts in the field and have the opportunity to engage one-on-one with the researchers who have a deep interest in finding treatments for our loved ones with PWS and SYS.

Join us for a special session just for new parents
This special pre-conference session is for parents who have received the PWS diagnosis within the last 24 months. Join us on the morning of Friday, October 6 to meet other new families and learn from parents who are on this same journey. A luncheon will follow the session. Space is limited, please RSVP during ticket purchase.
Age Group Meet Ups

Research Symposium
Hear the latest in PWS research directly from the researchers! Presentations are geared for a scientific audience of researchers and academics, however, parents are invited to attend on Friday, October 6th from 9-12 p.m. for free!
Join us Thursday, October 5 and Friday, October 6, 8 am -12 pm, for our 2023 PWS Research Symposium highlighting the latest findings in Prader-Willi Syndrome research, and leave inspired with new research ideas and collaborations. Symposium topics will include genetics, molecular mechanisms, PWS models, metabolism, therapeutic development, clinical care, and clinical trials.

Interested in presenting at the symposium?
The Research Symposium will include both oral presentations and a poster session. To submit your abstract for consideration, please complete and return this form. Abstracts should not exceed one page. Abstract submissions will be accepted until July 15th.
Travel Awards
FPWR is offering a limited number of $500 travel awards to trainees and junior faculty members presenting their research at FPWR’s 2023 PWS Research Symposium in Denver, Colorado. Travel funds can be applied to the conference registration fee, airfare, hotel, meals, and ground transportation. Travel Award applications will be accepted until July 15th.

Conference guests have access to special conference rates at The Westin, Downtown Denver of $199 a night- available until September 1st. A link to our room block will be emailed to you when you register.

Refund Policy: Tickets may be refunded up to 30 days prior to the conference, less a $25 processing fee.
